Alec Kelso-Capili

Alec is a lifelong Idahoan who grew up in the Treasure Valley and graduated from Borah High School. He later earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.

Alec began his career in media and marketing as a producer for Newstalk KBOI before joining The Real Money Pros as Digital Media Manager. Working closely with financial professionals and spending years helping translate complex financial topics for a broader audience ultimately led him to pursue a career in wealth management. In late 2023, Alec began that transition with Tree City Advisors.

As an advisor, Alec believes good financial planning should be understandable, practical, and built around the life a client actually wants to live. His background in communication continues to shape the way he works with clients, helping simplify complicated decisions and giving them a clearer understanding of the strategies behind their financial plan.

Outside of the office, Alec is a musician who enjoys playing guitar and writing music. He’s also an avid outdoorsman and can often be found snowboarding, hunting, running, or spending time with his wife, son, and their poodle.
